General Guidelines - Follow all instructions carefully- be cautious, be prepared.
- Absolutely no food or drink in the lab.
- Report all accidents immediately- splashes, broken glass, etc.
- No students are allowed in the lab unattended.
- Do not handle equipment with out permission.
- Be aware of all emergency equipment locations.
Chemicals - Do not touch, smell, or taste any materials in the lab without permission.
- Use caution transferring materials from container to container- wear gloves
- Leave ALL chemicals in the lab room
- Dispose of chemicals as directed, no pouring down the drain! Attire- Wear goggles over your eyes as instructed.
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
- Tie-back loose hair and clothing.
- Gloves and aprons required as instructed.
